Jackie Lo was born in the shadows of Chicago’s Miracle Mile, and after a

long migration made Alabama her home. She’s a bold Midwestern girl with

southern bite and whit.  Her golden brown locks and piercing green eyes are

only rivaled by her screaming guitar and haunting lyrics.

Jackie at a very young age was musically inspired by her Grandmother, an

accordion wielding bandleader that entertained the troops with the USO.  

As a child she gravitated to the flute and eventually received a degree for

flute performance.  The fire that raged inside her for loud guitars eventually overcame her and a new musical voice was born.

Sitting in her room for months on end she taught her self the ins and outs

of songwriting and how to play guitar.  Her inspiration quickly formed

itself into an album born from love, loss and revenge. Piece by piece,

things came together.  She recorded her nine song LP, ‘Until I’m A Ghost’

with her husband Jason Hamric (of Twinside) and long time friend and

producer Lester Nuby (of Verbena), which Ol Elegante released in December

2012. The record quickly received great reviews and is currently being

toured.
